RACE DAY SCHEDULE

Saturday, May 3          

5:00am – Transition Area Opens

6:30am – Mandatory Athlete Briefing

6:45am – Mini Mighties Line Up

7:00am – Mini Mighties Start

7:30am – Mighty Mujer Swim Line-Up

7:45am – Swim Start

8:15am – Bike-Run Start

8:30am  – Run/walk Start


RACE DAY INFORMATION


ON-COURSE HYDRATION: There will be one hydration station at the swim-out area in transition, and one on the run course, that athletes will pass multiple times. There will be water as well as Skratch available.  Please bring your own hydration and nutrition for the bike portion of the race.

TIMING CHIPS: Timing chips will be available to pick up on race morning near the transition area! Timing chips are to be worn on your LEFT ANKLE during the race.  They are reusable and will be removed and returned at the end of the race near the FINISH line. (Aqua-bike athlete's chips will be collected after bike, in transition)

TRANSITION AREA:  Only athletes are allowed in the transition area!  NO EXCEPTIONS!  Please arrive with your bike number on your bike seat post to expedite Transition check-in.  Transition spots are first come, first serve.  Sections will be marked Sprint, Super Sprint, Relays & Bike-run. Volunteers will do visual checks of your brakes, helmets, and handlebars. Spectators are not allowed within transition at any time.

POOL AREA: Spectators will not be allowed to enter the pool, bleachers and pool area is for athletes only. Please, do not leave anything in the pool facility, as it will be closed after the swimmers are done and you will not be able to get your stuff.

RELAY, BIKE-RUN, & RUN-WALK: Wait within transition until you are called to start your event. There will be a designated area for each event, volunteers will inform you on race morning. 

RESTROOMS: The restrooms inside of Memorial pool are open to all women, plus there will be 1 portable outside of transition, and 1 located on the Grant side of the run course.  There will be a hand washing station at the portable in transition. 

AWARD CEREMONY: There will be an awards ceremony held at approximately 10am, at the EXPO.

EXPO: There will be an interactive and fun EXPO for all participants and spectators near the finish line. Please make sure to go in to get your post race snacks, bonus swag and check out all of the race day vendors!

PARKING: Parking is available around the Rose Garden, Memorial Senior Center and on Aurora near Crockett.  There is also additional parking at the baseball fields near Memorial Park.  Parking is first come first serve!  *Purple areas denote where athlete parking is available. Blue parking is for volunteers only - if you park in the blue area you will not be able to get out until the race is completely done.
